DEATH ANGEL: San Francisco, Phoenix Dates Announced - Mar. 4, 2004

Reunited San Francisco Bay Area metallers DEATH ANGEL have been added to the TESTAMENT/SADUS bill on Saturday, March 27 at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco. In addition, the group's previously announced shows with FLOTSAM AND JETSAM at Chasers in Phoenix have been moved to April 9-10.

As previously reported, DEATH ANGEL have set a May 4 U.S. release date through Nuclear Blast Records for their much-anticipated comeback album, "The Art of Dying". The CD will arrive in Europe and South America one week earlier (April 27).

The group's first CD since 1990's "Act III" was recorded at SF Soundworks studios in San Francisco, California with producer Brian Joseph Dobbs (VOIVOD, MANMADEGOD) and features the following track listing:

03. Thicker than Blood
04. The Devil Incarnate
05. Famine

Oh, of course I'd love to see Imagika, Heathen, and any other killer BA bands on the bill. I'm just saying, if faced with a choice between an oversized 12-band show and just the three already announced, I'd pick the latter. (No offense to Imagika, etc.)

Actually NCMU.com is in the preparation stages of a bay area gig apprx. 8 bands. Top 2 to be Heathen and Imagika. =) All the details are still being ironed out but July 31st looks like the date.
