all sounds the same, i was listenning the speed kill hate cd and thinking wow killer thrash and then the voice!!!! generic metal core voice!!!, which one is gonna be the next trend?

Good to hear, because I honestly thought Trivium sucked. I felt Andy Sneap name was not fitting to that album and band at all.

I should have guessed that andy had his hands on the Trivium. No wonder I liked it Nothing wrong with Trivium I think (althought I've only heard 2 songs), but also nothing new in this genre, what KSE really kicked off.

Too bad that this trend issue always comes up with everything, and people get fed up with a genre so fast. Trash has become a trend in Finnish bands right now, so there's quite a few new trash bands now, but I think you shouldn't worry about "the trend" if the band souds good enough to like.

There are not too many good "metalcore" (how much I hate that word) bands yet, just to compare to other genres. Andy, don't give up on this yet. As much as I like pure heavymetal, it's still nice to hear clean vocals every now and then. And I would like to hear the best metal sound on these albums too, and who else would mix these records, Danne alone?
