Testament outboard on the gathering

Badass photos in this thread!!!!

I love the Dragonload album!!! I also happened to like Trivium... and I think they have their own sound... but to each his own...

Glad to hear you're bringing the mop back Andy!

heheh, Andy called it 'Dragonload'

Haha, yeah I read that too fast... not only did I not notice that it was in ANDY'S post, but I also thought it said "Dragonland" at first. I've updated my previous post accordingly.

DRAGONLOAD

the only thing evil in that pic is Eric (Elric) Peterson, he of Dragonload fame. You should see him and Smyth in corpse paint!
check what i found on the fridge at Studio Fredman a couple weeks ago:

Fredrick's english spelling skills may not be quite there, but his sense of humor is.. um... razor sharp. ;)

Doesn't really turn me on so much as it makes me pine for the days when I had long hair. Alas, the genetics from my parents dealt me a cruel hand that has begun to catch up with me at the ripe old age of 24 . At least I have some pretty killer facial hair though, if I do say so myself .

This is the official "Metal Fasion Thread" now...

It's really important to use good shampoo and conditioner if you plan on doing a lot of headbanging, mopping the floor with your hair, etc., like I do. I reccomend ABBA hair products (no relation to Swedish disco.) You can find the stuff in some supermarkets now, amazingly, but it used to only be available at hair places.

Andy - we have similar taste in gear.

1073's for guitars/vox
SSL (alan smart?) and GML for stereo buss
Pultec or TubeTech for bass

Is that a Focusrite piece near the top (dual channel unit)?

I'm willing to be that the BBE and the Behringer aren't rentals.

Not to sound fruity, but that's a great pic of you, Sir James!

yeah i think they sound different to most of the metalcore bands out now, with trivium i can hear a lot of testament and old school metallica influences in their sound, much different to the usual iron maiden rip offs with a beatdown etc.
