Testament - that will be killer. We've had a great year of touring metal acts in 06. I do feel sorry for those metal heads in Adelaide - but you can kind of understand why they miss out so often. The numbers just aren't there to justify it most of the time. At the end of the day it's usually decided by the promoters anyway not the bands themselves. - What are you complaining about anyway Timmy ? - Melbournes just a mere 8 hours drive away for ya

I know what you mean when you compare numbers to either Sydney or Melbourne, but both Brisbane and even Perth get a lot of shows Adelaide doesn't. The population in Adelaide is in the same ball park as those 2.

Yeah I know it's an 8 hour drive - did it last year for Anthrax. Problem is finding the time to do the drive when you have a 1 year old little guy.

Anyhow - I'll stop my whinging now!! I am going to see both Arch Enemy and Nevermore soon enough.

Seems like most shows for metal bands would be sellouts. So few bands make it to Australia for some reason. Not sure why? That would be one of the first places I would try and tour.
