Is this fuckin' true?

"the awesome thing is..you can drink at clubs and shit here if u bring ur marriage license and ur spouse is over 21"

Nooooooo fuccccckinggggg waaaaaaaaayyyyyy.

Tully.... Texas????

A week ago cops got into bars and arrested people for being DRUNK
in Dallas.... did you hear about that?

I don't know... sometimes this states sounds too fucking weird.

and yeah Mike... great idea to marry a white trash over 21...

Tully, if you want beer so much- i'll buy you some, K?
just dont go to TX

karen, its really not that big of a deal anymore, its died down. the cops know they fucked up. stupid shit happens sometimes, in EVERY state.

you can't judge a place til you've been there, not based on what you hear on the news. i thought you were gung-ho to visit texas :(

you'll take the evening news' word over mine? texas still rocks my socks. why, i was at a bar this weekend with my friends and had a GREAT time with no fears nor worries whatsoever.

i've seen some threads about that situation, and its funny how the angsty teens from texas always come in and say "yeah texas sucks huhuhuh" when they'd say that no matter what state they lived in.

GAWWWWWD *sigh*

and tully...i'm not sure. it very well could be legal. i know if you're underage that it's legal to drink if a parent or guardian is with you. so in the situation of being underage and married to a person of legal age, it might be that they're considered your guardian *shrug*

awwww Cara.... I was really half joking...
I mean: yeah its fucked up, but which state isn't???
Virginia is bad too, my goodness, its not my home..
Of course I want to visit you guys in Texas!!!!!!!!
expect a Lioness there rocking your socks out y'hear??????
y'hear????????

:erk:
:)

The law is a real one. My brother got married to a younger girl (she was barely 20 at the time) and she got to drink publically because of such.

TX > ALL OF YOU

sometimes, sometimes i feel that nobody has any idea what in the hell it is that we say.

meh, the idea that certain states are better or worse than others is fairly ridiculous isnt it? few state laws are extreme enough to warrant avoiding a particular state (except north dakota). if anything, climate and economy should be the only things factoring into a move. that and what the license plate looks like.
