some states are clearly superior to others, based on what your priorities are regarding standard of living, weather, etc. And of course that is subjective.

thats what i was saying. however, one cant say things like, "texas sucks!" or "texas rules!" what exactly does that mean? [/statingtheobviousasusual]

ohios weather sucks and has the third highest tax burden but MS and AL fail in almost every measured category - per capita income, education, etc. (again, stating the obvious)

yeah I was just looking at states ratings by percentage of adults with bachelor degrees, and you can predict the l00sers pretty easily.

and thanks to global warming, the winters have gotten almost mild. this past winter we had maybe two or three days in single digits.
