Just wanted to comment a bit on the songs, Don't read if you don't wanna be spoiled:

Deathrider: The change is pretty neat, although I think some people will love it, and some will hate it. Personnally I think it's great because it makes the song sound fresher and it complimets John's vocals as well. The solos are pretty cool and so are the drums. It's gonna make a great video.

Metal Thrashing Mad: John shines with his vocals in this one. The backing vocals work very nicely here, and it's an over-all updated version of this classic. The combination of Rob's solo and Charlie's double pedal is crushing!!!

Caught in a Mosh: Well, It's basically the same as in MOMD. Note that this version is a bit slower than the original song, but for this one, it works.

A.I.R: One of the best updates. They should play this one live more frequently because it sheds! John's vox is great in this one too, and there some minor changes in the drum lines, all for the best of course.

Among the living: Finally we get to understand the lyrics!!! Actually John owns this one and I like the fact that there are no whinny vocals in this version. The song is a bit slower, and the guitars sound down-tuned. Good song all in all.

Keep it in the Family: Another good update. I would have liked this one to be quicker thoguh.

Indians: Again, pretty much the MOMD version. The drum changes are a welcome addition, nothing major, just some different and better fill-ins. Again, slower then the original, but it works as well.

Madhouse: The new intro riffs are pretty neat, though we lost the squeaky guitars at the begining. The bass is too good in this one (and the others too, Frankie did aces in this album). John does pretty well, considering that this was perhaps the song with Joey's best vocals.

Panic: One word: Fast motha fuckah... okay that was three words... Another of the best updates as well... All of them are great on this one, and kuddos for keeping up with the speed... they still got it, no doubt. I love the bass sound on this song. Great double solo form Scott and Rob.

I Am the Law: Again, same as in MOMD, meaning that it's slower than the original, but not that much... Slight modification on the drums - better fill-ins and more double pedal.

Belly of the Beast: As in MOMD, the intro is "Dethroned Emperor"'s first riffs and it transforms into BOTB. Great play between John's vocals and Frank's backing vox.

N.F.L.: Slower intro, but better drums, with more of Charlie's super cool double pedals

. Guitars sound down-tuned as well, so it mey sound a bit strange at first. John gives a very good performance in this one, one of the best of the album. Better drums over all (Charlie goes nuts towards the end), and new middle section part along with a brand new solo... it works well. And the best part, at the end the song melts into the "Time" intro riffs... It sounds soooo fuckin' great!!!

Be All, End All: Great song, but alas I wish it had been just a tiny bit faster. Still it's a great update and once again John rules in the vox dept. Frankie does pretty well on bass and his backing vox too (I specially love the "rrrright" at the begining). Pretty much the MOMD version too.

Gung-Ho: Another Fast mutha!!! This one is great; break-neck pace and John spews hatred from his throat. Excellent up-date. You're gonna want to go out and kill someone upon hearing this

Over all, this albums is just FUCKING GREAT. The sound is cool, and although I personnally would have liked this to have a full-studio album production, the grittier 'live-ish" sound gives this album it's own personnality. 9/10 (because it's missing 4 songs - Fuck European and Japanese imports)
