It's called numberology.
I just took the 7 and 9 and looked it up.
All sort of dates can be taken for this..
for example, take 42147!
4+2+1+4+7=18
1+8=9

Most people begin with dates of birth, but like i said, every date can be used for this. And that is just a basic. There is far more to discover. It's just a theory which i do understand and want to believe in. Pythagoras and math, aren't my friends. I was kicked out of math-class far too many times because i wasn't interested in triangles, squares and circles in that way. The numbers did it to me, not the shape of things.
Numberology reveals so much more.
I just have the habit, when i see dates that mean something to me, or which i don't understand, to use numberology to see what it can tell me. It's not something i do everyday, but when it appeared to be a strange or remarkable day, i use numberology to see if it meant any good..heh
And, if you think, this girl is out of her mind! you should watch "Pi", then you'll understand i'm not THAT weird..
Maybe you've seen it already but i can't look inside your head.

I hate it when i misspell things so..
My english isn't that good, you know?
In Dutch it is called nummerologie, and because number is english for nummer, i've just made a logical mistake.
I'll pay attention to it, it's difficult for Dutch people to speak english, you know? The grammar is so different and that's why i usually re-do my misspellings when i'm chatting to somebody, i need to know if i spelled it the right way.
But atleast you knew what i was talking about, so it wasn't a huge mistake, hihi.
