I think it would be great to have a thread where you can post the following, in one single post:
1. which guitar you used, strings, pickupsettings, tuning
2. name of software preamp, software cab, impulses, and settings
3. eventual other processing info like eq, gate, compress.
and finally and most important : a soundclip with the guitartone achieved, alone, in a mix, whatever.
also the clean guitarsignal would be interesting to hear.
in before get a real amp, tone depends on how you play, the guitar and everything.
