The end of heartache or dare i say it...as daylight dies...Just killer albums imo those are 2 of the only cds i own that get constant play every week...the newest cd was kind of a letdown for me...Its good but not as good as the other 2 i mentioned

AOJB
Still my favourite album. I much preferred Jesse on this album to the new vocal style when they got Howard, but saying that, Howard is still amazing. I think AOJB also had the heavier edge where EOH went more mainstream, yet EOH is still a very close second.

Alive or Just Breathing for me too, followed by The End of Heartache. I'm not a huge KSE lover, but I really enjoy the "Alive..." album. To be honest I sometimes find KSE to have a bit of a same song structure and to be pretty pushed on their songs and put melodies in places that they don't really fit.. But,their melodies, sound and vocals (either Jesse or Howard) kill!!

AOJB for me.

It sounds like a refined version of their earlier sound(album) which was less "popular" or "scene" sounding. The vocals are brutal as FUCK, like you can feel Jesse giving it his all. And the breakdowns are pretty awesome and old school (some songs on the newer albums have that too).
Like those breakdowns that you don't even consider a breakdown because it sounds like its part of the song.

The first time I listened to that album was around the end of my Slipknot phase *embarrassing* and I thought it was the heaviest thing I've ever heard. I won't forget that feeling.

I was laughing at this post, then I decided to try this shit out and I laughed even harder... I took the end of heartache and brought all the tracks in it to Cubase, and in 20 minutes I got a 3:43 long song with a small clip from all of the songs combined by only using crossfades, no tempoediting or something. I can't believe how some of the transitions are almost seamless

edit: order:
a bid farewell
when darkness falls
rose of sharyn
breathe life
when darkness falls
rose of sharyn
hope is
wasted sacrifice
hope is
the end of heartache
wasted sacrifice
world ablaze
a bid farewell
declaration
hope is
rose of sharyn
and embers rise

I feel like you could do this with a lot of bands...
