To clarify, AOJB wins above all for me because that album changed my life and I still get totally emotionally invested in it when I listen to it. I connect with the songs way more than I can with the new stuff, regardless of Howard being a technically better singer or the production being better.

I still hold that Howard is bad fit for KsE and I'm hoping he ends up leaving the band to be replaced by Phil. Or anyone less emo, really.

I havent been too keen on anything phil has done with them so far...he seems to be a better fit for atr (which when he's with them i think hes awesome) then he would for kse...could just be because its what im used to hearing but im alot happier hearing howard on kse then phil

Last Saturday was the best I've ever heard the band - I was thoroughly impressed with Phil's performance, something I can't say I've been when I've seen ATR.

ATR is really quite boring overall if you ask me.

As for Phil singing for KSE, I don't know that I would be too into it just bc of how bad his singing stuff is for ATR, but I am open to the idea ,bc it could end up slaying.

Phil fails so badly at singing but he used to have a hell of a set of pipes on him. Vocals on the second all that remains album were massive

Totally agree. Then they just became another fail. Although, Oli fuckin shreds.

Oli shreds, but man I wish they could write more interesting music...they're the kind of band where there's nothing I overtly hate (no BREE's or THIS IS YOUR FIGHT's or anything), but overall I just find them dull and forgettable :/

My fave is probably EOH , though I actually like the newest one a LOT more than ADD. Actually I really hate that album , sounds so uninspired to me , it's like all filler.
Also had to say that Phil is the worst singer ever , saw them multiple times live and he can NEVER do the cleans live , and can barely scream. Did he learn nothing from his Melissa Cross sessions? And the newest ATR was a HUGE disappointment to me , and the production was pretty bad.

As Daylight Dies, especially if you include the Holy Diver Cover.
End of Heartache in second (but in first place production wise)

As Daylight Dies, most amount of awesome songs.
every other one got too many fillers

so for me
ADD>KSE2nd>TEOH>everything else (i really dont like the old singer even if there are killer songs on the older ones :p)

KSE2nd has a lot of stuff that sounds too similar, but i dont listen to half of the songs from TEOH...+TEOH is a PITA-song for me

I'm really really really confused as to how anyone could prefer ADD to EoH, let alone AOJB??? How is this happening?

To be honest I was never a huge fan of AOJB.
In general I'm just not really much of a metalcore fan.
Apart from a few KSE records and a few Darkest Hour records, I can't think of much metalcore I actually like.
Not to sound like an elitist, because I'm not, but i tend to think the non-core metal genres on average really are better than the metal related-core genres.
Give me a death or groove metal record over most metalcore/deathcore any day of the week

AOJB for great songs, vox & riffs. Not a fan of other albums/metalcore. Production wise EOH.
