The bottom line IS

I was watching undercover brother at lunch today, it was kinda funny.

are we/you talking good movies so try "battle royale", real nice one. A bunch of asian schoolkids are taken to an island, there they have 3days to kill eachother of, the sole survivor earns the right to live.

i saw Tripple X the other day. its not nearly as lame as the previews would have you believe. it has a really sick opening scene with rammstein playing in a cathedral in prauge with all their crazay pyro an shit. its pretty cool.

i saw that movie..on the contrary..i thought cause the previews that it would haev been better. IT seem sto me that they spent all the cash in the first 20 minutes.

PITCH BLACK is tsill the best movie Vin D has acted in IMO that is.

BUt yeah neal, Triple x wasnt a totle wash out.

I haven't seen Triple X, because I have no desire to. It looks like one of the worst movies ever made. And I agree with Pitch Black, I mean it wasn't a great movie, but for a Sci-Fi thriller, it was pretty good. Now, I just saw Signs yesterday. What an amazing film. If you haven't seen it, do yourself a favor and go get it right now. M. Night Shyamalan has to be one of the best directors in the movie business right now.

i watched sighns last week. It was good. But at the same time, IMO, it sucked ass. Its a hard movie to call.

Sure, teh characters were in the so called "dark", as they natuarly would be. but why did I haev to be in the dark? I mean, shit, IMO, they just left too many holes for the viewer to fill.

Like when Mel and Co stuck the TV in the other room, to protect the children. Well, he protected me as well... he didnt let me see or hear the news about the aliens.

ANd IMO, if a lifeform was advanced enough to get to EARTH from their home....then, if water was like their KRYPTONITE, then they would have picked another planet. I mean, if any alien is going to come here, on purpose, then those aliens are gonna know everything about US, and our planet. They would haev known that humans need water to survive, and they would haev known that we humans would haev a very nice supply, always on hand.

But over all....it was interesteing, even if parts of it were disapointing.

good call on bringing that film up LOM.

Well, I like the way he connected things in the movie and used the camera to make you feel like you were in the movie to. And he showed Mel's thoughts and dreams about the night his wife died, and how at first he connected what she said as the reason that nobody is watching over us, then he figured out that it was really proof that someone is watching over us. And really, all of the signs in the movie. The girl placing water everywhere. And I liked how he didn't need to use gore and that he didn't even need to show the aliens to scare you. He put you in the movie with the family. He made it more psychological, more threatening. He made you think of ways out of a situation that the family was in, again, I felt like I was in the movie with them. And he placed everything strategically in the movie. Think about the tv, in the end, he had to pull it out of the closet and that's how he saw the alien. That made it more suspenseful and alowed for a cool affect. And allowed the alien to grab the boy, since Mel had to get the tv. And about the water, well, what if this is the only other planet that could support the aliens. What if this was the only planet that had the other resources that they needed. They wouldn't really have a choice, they would just have to take a chance and hope that humans couldn't figure out that water would harm them. I mean, the water was there as a sign. The girl placed wouldn't drink all of it and just leave it somewhere and they thought it was just a problem she had, but it was really a sign and someone watching over them, assisting them.

And really, the way he used the tv was great. I don't feel that he kept it away from you too, instead, he still showed you parts of the news on it and allowed you to get small bits of information, but still leave a lot of things unknown. This made things even more suspenseful and frightening because it made you think about the things that you knew, but you still couldn't answer the questions fully because of what he didn't tell you.

sure, your right. I was left wanting more.

I wasnt saying it was not the intention of the director to make things fuzzy. I love that in films. BUt this film, ahhh, i just cant explain it.
It had grade A acting, evrything nearly was perfect.

The best news clip IMO wa sthe one at the birthday party. And the news ppl, they really showed fear.

I still say Blue Velvet is a good film. I like the way it is presented, like a dream, everything happens conveniently for the main character, it's like as if he decides the direction the story is going to take. Plus some interesting techniques where the camera stays fixed and doesn't follow the actors around, it's like it's the actors' responsibility to get in front of the camera, funny stuff. Plus Dennis Hopper plays the bad guy.

Yeah, I can see what you are saying led. I just wasn't left wanting more. It had more than enough for me. Hey, everyone has different opinions. But the best movie I saw from last year was Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. Simply amazing. 5 times better than The Fellowship. Can't wait for The Return of the Kings. The best book out of the three, and it should be the best movie out of the three.
