I saw The Chasm live in St. Paul about 3 years ago, sans bassist. The riffing was excellent, but they sounded kinda thin and weak without a bass guitarist. Fuck everyone who says bass is useless, that performance was proof positive that bass is a necessity in metal music.

I guess I'm lucky enough to have gotten my copy of Deathcult from Century Media about 2 years ago. Do they still carry it?

That reminds me, I should listen to that, for it has been a while.
