Maul was nothing compared to the Emperor. I think that all his skills with a saber would have been trumped by the Emperor's superior command of the force. No contest imo. Then again the EU always makes dumb shit.... Boba Fett lightsaber duelling with Vader, for instance

^That is always my problem, I can never find a place to start because I'm afraid that I'm missing out by not reading the series that precedes it... and there's always another series in the EU Makes it goddamn hard.

i realized i probably should have read the new jedi order books before LotF.

I didn't, it mentions a few things that happen in the dark nest and new jedi order series, but really nothing big. i think reading young jedi knights was enough info on the chars to know whats going on besides Ben.

Holy shit, the last Clone Wars episode was actually fucking awesome.

1. Minimal dialogue including Ahsoka
2. Luminara Unduli (shes cool)
3. Awesome Ventress stealthiness and general bad assity
4. Decent saber fighting
5. People actually died, as opposed to just droids being shot as it usually is

Almost makes up for the piece of shit episode last week.

yeah it was actually pretty good, they made Luminara's char into exactly the way i thought they would which was good.


plus those council commando's look bad ass.

I just watched it last night as well, can't wait for the next one tonight.

Episode 10 was the best one yet, fucking great Saber duels, get to see Grievous in his old days, and aside from the shitty moral of the story, it was great imo.

I like their little morals. I had a good laugh at Fisto being Jamaican... still love him though.

I also love how they stick famous pieces of art (or variations of them) in the movie/shows. In the last episode, that first statue that is shown is based off Cellini's "Perseus and Medusa" and the statues on Coruscant in EP II (I think) are sculpted after Giacometti's work.
