Fries + vinegar is pretty common in RI. I have it from time to time. When I was in Sicily years ago i put vinegar on my fries and the waiter looked at me like I was a crazy person.

I'd look at you the same way... Vinegar on fries, that's pretty weird. At least to a European.

Haha interesting turn of events... I went to lunch with a girl I work with on Friday and she put vinegar on her fries and it was the first I've EVER heard of anyone doing that. I tried it and it wasn't very good, but crazy irony that it's a discussion here today haha.

Grated cheddar cheese on warm chips is really awesome. The cheese gradually melts as you eat them.
