The dirty mixes appreciation topic

I'm sure some will scoff at me considering this "dirty", but I guess it just shows where my tastes lie production-wise :D Regardless though, I fucking love it, the guitars are so "ripping" (for lack of a better word, I just feel like I can hear them tearing the speakers to shreds), and the singer has so much power and emotion in his voice, big fan :headbang: (and this version conveniently has the long fade-in intro cut out)

Great band, it's good to see that they are starting to get international recognition too, criminally under-rated away from home. Love the production on that album too, very natural sounding and suits their music so much. Alan has a great voice too, very convincing and a great frontman to boot. :kickass:

I figure since this forum is usually based around making stuff sound good, I'd post a topic about people's favourite DIRTY mixes.

Since I am on a scott burns production binge right now i am gonna kick things off with

My favoride DM band without a doubt. Although, I think I like Pierced from Within a tad better, otherwise, they're basically a tie in my book.

I like Jane Doe too, but this mix is so weird but yet heavy as a japanese sumo wrestler.

Old school Arch Enemy is absolutely better then what it is today (my opinion) like the Burning Bridges because it's still pretty transparent but yet somewhat dirty
sounding.

I consider this a dirty awesome mix too :)
