Well I guess it depends when it falls during the week. It could be Monday, Tuesday, etc. But really I didn't know it was called anything but October 30.

I read somewhere once that the day before Halloween was "Devil's Night" and the day AFTER (11/1) was "Mischief Night". But we always called the 30th Mischief Night, and if we'd tried to pull off another night of mischief on the first of November, I bet it wouldn't have been looked too kindly upon.

I only recently became aware that it had a special name in some places. Growing up it was just the day before halloween.

My take on it is that it only has a name in places where halloween is actually a big deal to some people. The Northeast/New England for example.
