I've read a couple of threads that mentioned whether certain "mistakes" were intentional or not. My only problem with "Still Life" is the way "SPD" just cuts off in mid strum. Then 4 seconds later the last song finally starts. This really breaks up the flow if you ask me. Or did i just get a bad master copy?

)according to the interview I got to through metalupdate.com, Mikael says "It's his babe or something" (or something equally stunning in it's simplicity:lol: )

do you people understand sarcasm?

anyway, the way that song is VERY APPROPRIATE.

think about what is happening in the story at the time..

his love is dead, and he is going to die, and emptiness hits the character like a wall, end of song..

my interpretation anyway...

there is no mistake in still life.

Excluding the cough, but that even fits in with the moor.

 , its the here we go again. wow we should count the amount of times this question has been asked.

anyway its a bad master copy Musicholic, and we all have that bad master copy :p

no, wait my copy doesn't do that maybe I got the only good copy in the whole world :)

Thanks for the info, Transparent...back when I bought vinyl the same thing happened with an old Roxy Music album. I kept returning it because of a skip defect... and the new one always had the same problem. Maybe you have to get a different pressing to avoid these problems...:(

Just to clarify, for those of you who didn't get it - "Who is Melinda" is the archetypical, much joked-about "newbie question" that's already been discussed many a time. When this thread was posted asking about the end of SPD (which has also already been discussed many a time) I responded with the Melinda question attempting to be facetiously sardonic.

Hey...

I also have this pressing, where SPD is cut short, which makes me totally  !! I have returned the disc two times, and downloaded numerous versions from audiogalaxy, but there seems to be no complete version. Anyone who owns it, please post it here in MP3(192kBit), it's for the paying customer who bought the original and wants a complete version of SPD. The versions from the Internet are mostly even shorter because all those dudes forget to deactivate the "reduce silence at the end"-function in their ripping program.
