What makes you say that they're not doing it now?
I think he's just saying that the people that do do that are funny.

I thought I was the only person who ever read the dictionary.
It's on my to-do list. After I finish Faust, that's my next project.

Today's questions:

1. What is your favorite photo?
2. Who took the photo?
3. If you could photograph anything or anyone what/who would it be?
4. What makes a good photo?
5. Which do you prefer: digital or print?

1. What is your favorite photo?
Myself and my then-girlfriend at Niagara Falls
2. Who took the photo?
She did. (Hence the answer to #1.)
3. If you could photograph anything or anyone what/who would it be?
The entire world.
4. What makes a good photo?
No poses. Just capture the essence of the situation naturally. Invisibly. It's like you're not even there. Just the subject is.
5. Which do you prefer: digital or print?
Print. I could go into a detailed (and technical) description of why, but...

Haha, wow. This one is unfair to me!

1. I don't really have many photos.
2. :erk:
3. My band or myself so people could see my band... or myself.
4. Not looking into the camera. For some reason I hate that.
5. Digital.

1. Of me: one from when I was 3; it was my sister's first day of school and I couldn't comprehend why I couldn't go with her. She's cropped out, but in the full picture she's standing right next to me grinning from ear to ear.

Of someone else: My parents on their wedding day.

2. The former by my mom, I don't know who did the latter.

3. Something that hasn't been photographed yet.

4. The stories behind it.

5. Both have their advantages.

1. What is your favorite photo?

Our 2002 family Christmas photo. Just a great picture of the family at the time. My daughter, who was all of five months at the time, looks like she's having a blast. A second favorite is of a diving save I made in high school during a soccer match.

2. Who took the photo?

Kim Jew, my dad

3. If you could photograph anything or anyone what/who would it be?

The corpse of Osama bin Laden

4. What makes a good photo?

The captured essence of the moment. As Kenneth said, little or no posing - just a quick snap of a moment in time.

5. Which do you prefer: digital or print?

Digital is easier to capture those moments in life, but print is better quality.

1. I don't like to pick and choose favorites except for of myself, so I guess me at my last show, also seen in my avatar:

2. My buddy Andrew, who also happens to be the official OBP roadie
3. Me, jamming with John Petrucci and MJR. Or a picture of Santa Claus, John Myung, or the Tooth Fairy, just to prove that they all exist.
4. Anything involving musical equipment, and/or hot chicks.
5. It depends.

1. There's a picture of the original photo used for the cover of The Devin Townsend Band's album, "Synchestra". It's pretty badass.
2. Someone on Deviantart.
3. Me with any of my heroes.
4. An interesting subject.
5. Digital is easier to use.
