2. 7.9, when I was travelling through Alaska and Canada visiting friends. I was on a week stopover in Anchorage, due to fly out the next day when it struck.

3. Don't have too many tornado's in Australia like you do in the States, but I was at the local swimming pool one day when a whirlwind struck. It tossed rubbish bins around and threw a kid off the diving board into the pool.
4. Caught the tail end of a few cyclones when I lived in Brisbane back in the 80's.
5. The town I grew up in flooded in 1956, like a lot of towns on the River Murray, before my time though.
It's not cooperating..I should be on a plane for SoCal this very moment to see the boys in W. Hollywood tonight, but that's just not a good idea right now.. *cusses*

Yeah actually, and here in the NW, Tornados are very very rare. There was one here about 5-10 miles from my house a couple months ago.

no, might be quite an experience though.

no, and I am thankful that this hasn't happened.

See, i thought that book sucked. It was about a dog with rabies. That's not scary. That just sucks. it's basically a book about someone's really, really bad day. I remember reading that and just waiting for it to get good, and by about 50 pages before the end i realized it... wasn't going to ever get good
