The Friday Five

1. What is your favorite experience in your life so far?
Can't list just one.
2. What motivates you to keep going every day?
Purpose.
3. Where do you want to go in life? What do you want to accomplish?
I want to noticeably improve this world.
4. Is there anything that you regret? Do you try to change it?
No.
5. What is your most cherished gift you have received? Why do you cherish it so much?
I'll have to go with the Christian thing and say love. Gifts, unlike rewards, must by definition be undeserved. Undeserved love is a beautiful thing.

1. What is your favorite experience in your life so far?
I dunno, family vacations?

2. What motivates you to keep going every day?
All the things/people I have/know that make me happy.

3. Where do you want to go in life? What do you want to accomplish?
I wanna find a job/career doing something music/guitar related.

4. Is there anything that you regret? Do you try to change it?
Not really. The very few bad things in my life aren't my fault.

5. What is your most cherished gift you have received? Why do you cherish it so much?
Anything given to me by my family.

1. What is your favorite experience in your life so far?
erm.. either being front row at the Maiden concert & having Dave<3 wink at me, or living in Moldova for two months. It was an amazing experience, and I really got to see a COMPLETELY different side of the world where nobody had anything aside from a goat and some chickens, and they were happier than anyone in America.

2. What motivates you to keep going every day?
The hope of fulfilling my dreams, and succeeding in life.

3. Where do you want to go in life? What do you want to accomplish?
I want to do something that significantly improves other people's lives. Oh.. and I want to go to Germany.

4. Is there anything that you regret? Do you try to change it?
There are little minuscule things that I sort of regret, but it's no biggie. The world would be so much happier if people accepted everything both bad and good that happened to them as something that's meant to be, and kept going no matter what without regretting it. I'm a strong believer in fate.

5. What is your most cherished gift you have received? Why do you cherish it so much?
Hm.. my sister. Although she wasn't specifically a gift to ME, from the day she was born, I realized how it feels to really love something no matter what happens.. I'd give my life for that little fetus.

5. What is your most cherished gift you have received? Why do you cherish it so much?

1. Mission / Safari trip to Kenya, helping at an orphanage etc. similar to what pinkxplatypus said, they have so little yet are so much happier than a lot of people in 'Western' society... Just playing basketball with some of the guys, same age as us, and you forget that they have so little, as they're so welcoming and seem no different at all to us...

2. Knowing that I have a purpose...
3. I wanna be teh most awesomest gitarist EVA!!11!
4. Not really anything significant...
5. Similar to what Ken said... ooops, copying Ken a bit here, coincidence? ;)

1. What is your favorite experience in your life so far?
There have been a few that wouldn't be appropriate to mention. However as strange as it may sound one of my favorite moments ever was seeing The Flower Kings live for the first time. Absolutely incredible.

2. What motivates you to keep going every day?
Ignorance and stubbornness.

3. Where do you want to go in life? What do you want to accomplish?
Formulate the GUT. Honestly, I have a deep fascination with mathematics and science. If I, one day, can fully grasp abstract concepts like string theory (or perhaps it's successor) I will be happy.

4. Is there anything that you regret? Do you try to change it?
Like many others I'm sure, there was this one girl I really liked in high school but was always too nervous to really get to know her.

5. What is your most cherished gift you have received? Why do you cherish it so much?
Probably my Alvarez acoustic guitar. My grandparents really supported my guitar playing and always helped me out with things like that.

3. I just want to be known for my music. I don't really care if I make money or not; I just want peopleto be able to recognize me for it.
4. Too much shit.
5. I'd rather not discuss that.

5. My extraordinary personality. I don't cherish it, I spread it like a plague.

1. What is your favorite experience in your life so far?

That's a tough one

2. What motivates you to keep going every day?

Lots of things....friends, family, and I've got that whole "disgruntled artist" thing going on so I'm constantly working towards something in that field

3. Where do you want to go in life? What do you want to accomplish?

I want to be able to make a comfortable living and never have to work a non-music related job (or rather....I don't want to HAVE to work a non-music job). Eventually settling down and maybe even starting a family (haha...I'm nowhere NEAR thinking like that just yet) would be nice too.

4. Is there anything that you regret? Do you try to change it?

I wish I had learned to be more outgoing and less self-conscious a lot earlier in life...fortunately I've learned from that

5. What is your most cherished gift you have received? Why do you cherish it so much?

Another tough one.

2) Lots of things, but the top answer is family & friends......
3) I would like to be financially independant (who wouldn't?)
4) Nope, can't think of anything I regret.
5) My cat, Rhapsody. She was the last Christmas gift my mom gave me before she passed away in 1999.

1. My trip to Europe after finishing college. The thrill of seeing new places, new cultures, and of many great future possibilities that lay ahead was amazing.
2. Faith, family, friends, and MUSIC.
3. Find a career where I can combine my talents and love for graphics and music, and hopefully get a sense of true fulfillment.
4. Not taking more chances, with the hindsight I know have. Working on it.
5. Family. Knowing they all won't be there one day makes me realize how important and special they are.

3. What are you presently wearing?
Green t-shirt, jeans, and Samba Milleniums, with my ID badge on my lanard.

4. What presents have you bought?
Leather gloves for the wife, bunch of toys for the kids. My wife sells Mary Kay and we fork out a good bit as gifts during this time.

5. Whose presence would you enjoy tonight?
My kids; sadly, it's the office "Holiday Party" tonight - yep, in f'in' November. My wife and I need to take drastic action with our daughter because we feel we're losing her a little. Too much time spent with her brother, who requires too much of our attention, and she's getting left by the wayside. Sad, but we think we can right the ship. I'd really like to start tonight, but that party thing gets in the way. Being a manager, I have to go though.

Nothing really

2. What is your most recent occupation?

Musician/student. The last time I was actually earning a wage was in high school working at a music store, but since I've been in college I haven't had time for a "job", so other than lessons/gigs/guitar repair here and there I'm just a student.

3. What are you presently wearing?

Shoes (for the second time this winter...finally starting to get a bit chilly), Blue jeans, a grey OBX (outer banks) tshirt, black sweat-jacket

4. What presents have you bought?

None yet, I'm not flying back home until the 22nd, so I'm going to try to get all my shopping done during the day or two before christmas. yay me

5. Whose presence would you enjoy tonight?

I've been missing my friends from back home in MT lately, but in all honestly I just like to be left alone on the weekends lately. It's my "me" time away from school where I can get all my work/practicing done for school and then just chill, watch movies, play video games, etc.

1. What do you resent?

2. What is your most recent occupation?

3. What are you presently wearing?

4. What presents have you bought?

5. Whose presence would you enjoy tonight?

1) The fact that even after paying into the system for so long, when I was out of work, and out of money, I couldn't get a friggin' state sposored loaf of bread or brick of cheese, while other non-citizens of this country were given a higher priority because they keep popping out kids. I will NEVER forget that, nor will I ever forgive.

2) Data Center Coordinator - Basically a jack of all trades IT position, with supervisory responsibilities added on. If you took the jobs of a computer operator, system engineer, help desk, desktop support, and network engineer, and combined them, that's what I do. The company I work for does mobile data technology & transaction processing.

3) jeans, a Bears (football) shirt and a sweatshirt. Everyday is casual day here...

4) Not a thing yet....

5) Nobody. With a snow/ice storm coming, I'll be hunkered down all weekend...

1. What do you resent?
People who I thought were my friends having shown me in a quite painful manner that my trust & friendship was wasted on them. Fuckers *mutter*.
2. What is your most recent occupation?
Romeo's bitch. *g*
3. What are you presently wearing?
Black sweater, jeans, black boots.
4. What presents have you bought?
Almost all of them; just have a couple left to pick up & then I'm done. :)
5. Whose presence would you enjoy tonight?
My birthmom's; it's been about 15 months since I saw her last & I miss her. Won't get to see her again for another few months, though. :(
