The Greatest Power Ballad EVER

Except for some dirt fun in the lyrics the stuff is too generic, not even a good ballad or song for that matters. Are these guys doing it as a mocking band (ala Spinal Tap) or do they really believe in the crap they do?

ROFL

yeah, thats a spoof but like desert demon said, so close to the reality of the cheese factor involved with power ballads and the bands that were in the biz... and man did those guys get laid. drop a power ballad on the crowd at a concert and you own all the girls.

They don't take themselves seriousy, they were called Metal Skool and then their made this a full time gig and changed the name in an effort to make this a full-time recording/touring gig. As Metal Skool they played covers, if you're interested you can find their videos with celebrities on YOUTUBE. I've seen them once while in SoCAL, they put on a good show. I really love the Van Halen tribute band that Ralph and Russ have The Atomic Punks, which they don't do as often anymore. They put on a killer, vintage DLR era Van Halen show!!! I've seen them a few times in SoCAl as well and you have to see it to believe it. This Steel Panther thing I'm not too impressed with, but you can't blame them for paying the bills...that is if this kind of thing sells...

I guess always come to that isn't it?

We desire the almighty dollar
The pound of flesh, the golden collar
Lick the hand, we give our land to dogs
