After the success of the St George's day bash in April and raising over £1000 for Help For Heroes, the organisers of the event(Fingers,Saxon1963,Saxonised,and myself)have decided to do it again.Only BIGGER and better. We will be holding a two day festival at the Green Man pub/Hotel on Sat 21st and Sun 22nd of August. There will be two performance areas. The first being outside in the huge 1 acre garden and the second an acoustic stage inside. There will be entertainment for kids,a play area and bouncy castle and a BBQ will running throughout the days.
Things are still in the planning stages,as we are talking to bands at the moment, but we are pleased to confirm our first band, which is Ghoad, who will be performing their tribute to Saxon set over the weekend. If you were at the aformentioned St Georges day gig you will know what a good show they put on.
More details as and when we have them.It will be good to see as many forumers there as possible to make it a fantastic event.more soon.............

Almost forgot Metal Ed will be there too for another storming set!

Nightvision, an incredibly talented new young British 4-piece hard rock band from Lincolnshire, released their irresistible, tour de force debut album, ‘As The Lights Go Down’, on Rocksector Records on April 6th….

‘As The Lights Go Down’ is packed with exuberant, crisp, crunching guitar riffs, soaring, wide ranging vocals, thunderous melodic bass lines & powerhouse engine room drumming. This is the sound of four excellent young musicians who have embraced their influences from the (metal and hard rock) past, injected tons of energy & enthusiasm & created their own distinctive brand of high energy hard rock music in the process.

Bulletproof are a Lincolnshire based, five piece, Metal/Rock covers band. Members are:
Gemma - Vocals
Neil - Guitar
Paul - Guitar
Pete - Bass
Rick - Drums

We gig mainly in and around Lincoln but have gigged further afield. We endeavour to pick more unusual covers, although Metal/Rock fans should recognise them all. Our influences include Kiss, Skid Row, Dokken, Diamond Head, Iron Maiden and Black Sabbath to name a few.

Bulletproof will be playing on Saturday 21st August

If you are a Saxon fan and you ain't heard of this lot, where have you been?
They will be playing both days and cover all of Saxon's career, so you will hear song's that Saxon don't play anymore or maybe have'nt played live before.I know they have some surprises in store for both day's.
They are worth the ticket price alone, never mind all the other great acts we have lined up.So what are you waiting for order your tickets NOW!

Please remember that we will be trying to raise money for the Help for Heroes charity, which is a charity that supports soldiers and their families that have been wounded in the current conflicts.http://www.helpforheroes.org.uk/

As many of you will know Bloodstock founder Paul Gregory is renowned in the music and art world for the many album covers he has designed over the last 25 years for legendary bands such as DIO, Saxon, Molly Hatchet, Uriah Heep, Blind Guardian to name a few. Saxon's Crusader album was not only the first album cover Paul painted for Saxon but his first for any band. 25 years later this historic album cover artwork is released as a fine art limited edition print of just 500 copies worldwide. Each print is signed and numbered by the artist and accompanied with a letter of authenticity.
