Right, this is the thread to post all your guitar-related stuff.

I am looking forward to see all the guitarplaying In Flames fans in here and to hear from their experiences!

Have fun & stay METAL!

I'm distributing it on my own, but I'm using Cafepress for the manufacturing; they make really high quality stuff. With this, I just sort of want to show off ;), and see what people think of my music. If I see that people are actually buying the album...Well, I'll be more hasty in trying to put a real band together. :)

Cool!
Right now I am listening to Silent Night! :Spin:
Some cool stuff too!
Have you got any soundsamples of your RPx400 online? I'd be interested in how it sounds without other instruments, just one guitar and nothing else (as I'll probably buy it as I told you before).

BTW: How did you do the drums with your records?

If you're really desperate, I could record something real fast, but the closest thing on Thpoo is the "A minor Waltz", I think it's the third song. However, it's 2 guitars double tracked, so the sound is beefed up quite a bit.

Thanks for listening to my stuff though! :)

Oh, yeah, drums. That's all Fruity Loops, a sequencer. I just used the built in drum samples.

-Tim
fruity loops? i can't believe it! i have never been able to do such drums with fruity loops... it just didn't sound any good. maybe you have got a newer version than i had...
i'll listen to 'a minor waltz' as soon as the download is finished!
what about the pro tracks recording software? is it any good?

Headcrusher: Yep, that's Fruity Loops :) I have FL Studio 4.1 Producer's Edition, but the features I'm using have been there since version 3, so that shouldn't make a difference.
Pro Tracks is pretty good multitracking software, but it has no built-in wave editor so, that's kind of annoying. The other thing is, it tends to refuse to start every once in a while because it has issues with the Digitech USB connection for some reason, and if you try and start it and it gives you that message, and then you try to restart the RPx, the computer blue-screens. Thpoo is all recorded in Pro Tracks, though for any later recordings I'm going to use Cool Edit Pro 2 (Now Adobe Audition); It seems to be a better way.

-iLluSiON - Good stuff you've got there, though I think you've got a bit too much synth in some of those songs. I checked out "Council Murder" and in some parts, there's this ambient pad type thing that completely covers up the guitar (which sounds great, btw), and muffles the melody synth. Drums sound nice as well, although I think they clip occasionally. I like your music though, it's good.

:) Thanks shard... the program I use isn't primarilly for making metal songs.. that's why. You need excellent metal samples in order to make a realisitc sounding song (and one that is mixed well). I mainly write other types of music on it so it's always fun to experiment with metal on it.
Your music is good as well!! I like your riffs a lot!

Listened to that one now, sounds quite nice! :)
What are the equalizer settings of the selected amp-modell on that one? Because I think it sounds a bit "muffled" (don't know if it's the right english word, hope you know what i mean!)

@Everlost: I noticed that there are some songs in German in your project. I was wondering how this comes as you are from Sweden...???

@Shard: I downloaded "Bloody Tears", man this track rocks!! Great riffs, great drums great sound too.... Is this one by you or a cover?? Respect!!
How long did it take you to record the track? Is there a version with vocals? I'd die to hear that!!
