The Hulk was ok, it would have been better with another actor besides Ed Norton, is he really made of wood? Him and Keanu Reeves should give each other acting tips

I was calling him a plank in another thread but people kept derailing it with "FIGHT CLUB ROX".

He was OK in the Painted Veil and the Illusionist, but everything else he does is pretty bad.

Hulk was pretty damned good. Sooooo much better than that Ang Lee disaster of a film.

Ang Lee Hulk was epic and awesome and had killer poodles. A recipe for success.

I liked the Ang Lee version. If it had removed the Hulk branding it may have been a well liked movie. It disappointed people expecting something different, which is understandable.

indeed. It had a lot going for it. The majority of complaints I've heard were "WTF THAT'S NOT THE HULK" or "WTF ABSORBING MAN? BOOO" or "NEEDS MORE HULK SMASH" (also complaints of crappy CGI but Ang Lee spent a lot of attention to detail getting it how he wanted it so whatever).

I've seen it compared to a Greek Tragedy, I guess Comic Nerds can't appreciate.

I'm sort of unsure why it was released as a Hulk movie, it was clearly never gonna satiate fans of the comic book.

Nope, shitty movie made by a shitty director. I also didn't like that piece of shit crouching tiger. People went on and on about that movie. I was bored to tears. Some of it LOOKED good, but of course good looks and no substance= shit.

I just came back from the cinema a little upset. I went to see Hulk but there was this long line of teens waiting to buy tickets for it so I left.

It's worth watching. Huge chunks of it are absolutely immense, little bits of it are not so good.

I can't say anything about the Happening because once again I will not likely see it until it hits DVD.

But about the Hulk. Even after hearing some of you guys say it was decent, I really am afraid to see that movie. I thought the first Hulk was so stupid that I was literally seething that I bought that sucker on pay per view.

Now I'm going to get a few eggs thrown at me, but I thought broke back mountain was a good tear jerker. And yes I did cry at the ending
