I love you guys, but I saw your new video for "Nemesis" and I just don't get what's with the catsuit, it's ugly. In all honesty, I'd have to give the video a 7 in cheesyness. Fire spurting up is just...not cool. It was also very noticable that Chris wasn't in the video and this album isn't your best. There is no real point to the album. It seems as if your ideas are running short. Nemesis also sounds like the Three Musketeers and it's too chanty. You're still on the top of my list...but I am hoping for a more quality album next time even if you are phyched about this one. By the way...Angela is getting really cheesy and it's gross. Watching you guys fall from grace musically and hitting the charts high is very discerning. I'm happy you're finally getting recognized but why make the music cliche? You guys obviously wouldn't agree with that, but as I am a musician myself, I can tell that the musical quality has dropped to a more primative level. Next time I hope you go with something more extreme. And Angela, why are you the only one on magazine covers now? I enjoy seeing the guys just as much as you. And the red lipstick is NOT working. It clashes with your hair. You looked great without it. One other thing related to appearance...the belly shirts...stop wearing them they're annoying...or loose some weight in the stomach! It won't look hot for much longer! You can't hate honesty.

The album was.....DM is not the best you guys can do and its one of the worst albums you guys have made. The lyrics are really cheesy and the guitar work is really bad(no wonder why Chris left).Nemesis is a bad song and the chorus reminds me of The Muskeeter saying. The Video sucks and there is no point in it at all. I dont know what you were thinking when you were wearing that red jumpshot Angela, its ugly. It seems like you (Angela) tried to seem that you stood out more like you were a girl and kicked ass, and had to stand out more then the other band members. The lipstick was bad and you look way better without it.
By the way you (Angela) look fat in the Decibel magazine you need to stop wearing belly shirts you dont have anything to show anymore.Loose some weight.
And you guys really didnt have to double Michael to make it look like Chirs was there.
I am still a huge fan but I am hoping for a better album from you guys in the future. It seems like you guys are trying to make Nemesis the new We Will Rise."

Ladies 2 DM 0 :D

Arch Enemy RULE! Always have always will.

Here is a little review I did for another forum:

Arch Enemy - Doomsday Machine(a review)

Ok now as a massive fan of this band it becomes very hard to say somthing bad about them, so I wont. But guess what I have no complaints about this album at all, except it could be a little lite on for some fans.

This album continues on from "dead eyes" ep, more melodic, more shred and better production.

If you put heartwork/wages/rebellion all together then you have Dommsday Machine, the production is top notch, the Amott brother riff and shred there asses off and the drums thunder through just like on wages of sin.

Now, on to the vocals. Angela has always inpressed me in more ways than one. On this album she does not dissapoint, sounds like there are a few added effects on her vocals but according to Andy Sneap who mixed this album there was very done to her vocal lines as far effects go.

I have found the songs very catchy and very in your face. In a week where there is that other album out(TGE). I am going to find it very choose which album to listen to.

As a final score for this album I will give it a solid 4 claws out of 5.
