Angela and Anders, the best vox in melodic death metals, Angela sounds like a Lizard from the show V and live I really enjoy looking at Anders, but Angela, na, no thanks. Women scare me, while men are really attractive."

the past couple of nevermore albums didnt grab me the way the others did. i only like 2 songs from TGE and 3 from EoR oh well, its not like nevermore petered out or sold out like metallica.

I guess the end result is, different people end up liking things differently. It's like with DT's octavarium. I like DT, but I don't really like that album and there's very few things about it that capture me, VERY FEW, while all these prog fans and DT fans at the concerts praise it as the best work yet or so.

I agree with you completely...I'm not into that album at all, and I'm a huge DT fan. That album was just really disapointing to me. They did what I thought they would never do and that's concentrate on the vocal aspect of the music. That is just strange considering the fact that Mike Portnoy has always considered vocals a "necessary evil" Oh well...

TGE isn't the best ... it's a great cd all in all, but when you've done cds like Dreaming Neon Black and Politics of Ecstasy, you can't really outdo yourself.

The skill and ability still kills most bands out there anyway, though
