Your comments that were directed at me were completely uncalled-for and ignorant. I'd like to think that people who enjoy Opeth's music are intelligent. For the most part I believe they are. You have proved to be an exception. I was hoping for some intelligent conversation, nothing more. Perhaps I came to the wrong place for that. And I'm not an Opeth "fanboy". They're the only band I listen to with "growling". I mostly listen to prog (old and new), jazz, and some Christian music. In the future, I will think twice before I post here. That's all.

90% of all death/black metal bands do not endorse the subjects they write about. They do it because they want to.

I listen to Jazz as well. I'm also a huge fan of Baroque and Romantic era music. Death metal is not the only music I listen to, but if you have a problem with what subjects of songs are, don't try to hide behind some bullshit meaning when the clear evidence is in front of you.
