There are indeed many of these mediocre bands on Spinefarm... but from time to time the label pulls out real diamonds ( -----> Ensiferium )...and there are still some more high quality bands left ( imo )!
What about the underground and original bands?

And please gimme more of that "hell & booze Metal"..

What comes to original Finnish bands, I can recommend at least these:
www.battlelore.net - it's True Arctic Fantasy Metal, okay, sounds cheesy, but it's really good, very distinctive and multi-levelled... And my friends play in that...
http://dive.to/deepred - Maybe the best brutal death metal band in Finland. Their drummer is incredible and now they have a singer from El Salvador, a real bloodgurgler...
www.rottensound.com - well, I guess they are quite famous now, but still... Death / Grind and a VERY fast drummer. Their latest album "Murderworks" is fokin' awesome
http://obscurant.cjb.net - I really wait their debut. Maybe not too original, but if you like old Hypocrisy you will drool over this piece of music
www.machinemen.net - They lack also some originality, but if you have Bruce Dickinson's twin brother in vocals and some great NWOBHM songs, you can't go wrong...

Great, just what I have been waiting for. My next-door neighbour (some 85-year old fucked up lady) is pissing me off big time. She has decided that nobody has the right to park his car in front of our appartment, even though it's perfectly legal and everybody does it. Each and every day she writes "No parking here" on a bunch of pieces of paper and glues them onto the car's windows. Lately she's been using chalk. No use telling her that she's wrong, she just won't listen

Interesting band.....a pity that there are only samples at their website...but I'll keep them in mind!

Rottensound was not bad either...( the guitarsound on "Murderworks" is somehow unusual..)

Do that, you can't get wrong with them, I promise... I know those guys and have heard couple of songs from album and I can promise, that they will kick crap out from everyone.
And BTW, more my friends' (Mental Terror's drummer and guitarist play in this also) bands: http://laconian.tk They're more like Katatonia and Anathema...
