Officium Triste is a very good doom band from Holland, I saw them 2 weeks ago in Aalst, they did a Sleepless cover there too (without Danny and Dunc). Heiko already told me that Danny and Dunc joined them for playing Sleepless on the Doomfest... Me VERY jealous

Oh yeah, forgot to say that Danny signed all my Anathema cd's
The last ones were done a bit too fast though, I got a bad timing, asked him to sign them right before he had to go back on stage

I've never asked him to sign anything. Maybe it was not casual. But I still got the plectrum he gaveme. It is black and there is a cross in it. I still remember how happy I was because i really liked it and I have never seen kinda one before. And in the next week I saw the same kinda plectrum in the hands of my friend

But I asked Vincent for an autograph in '97, then he got a bit angry because I started kinda chain reaction and all the fans almost sat on his head that he could not even move. Then I saw he wrote "FUCK OFF ! Vinnie" for the fans..

But I have a very very precious sign of a well known artist!!! You can buy his sign from me.
He has the fancy name Duncan Patterson

But all of these happened so long ago.....I'm getting old !!!!!

About Vinnie.... I'm SO disappointed in him... It's rare to hear positive comments from people who met him. And on stage he looks so charismatic and kind

And about the plectrum: the guitarplayer of Ancient Rites was at my home a few weeks ago because he volounteered to repair my guitar, and he gave me a real Ancient Rites plectrum then You know, with the logo on it and stuff. Very cool

That's nice but would you play with a plectrum with your band's name written on it ?
I remind the bands where everyone is wearing the band's t-shirt during concert.... They are all a bit like moving commercial dolls aren't they ?

Hmm I don't think that has anything to do with it... I don't have anything against bandmembers wearing their own shirts, Danny does it too. There are so many bands doing it. And there's surely nothing wrong with the plectrums, as far as I know there are really a lot of bands doing this too, and it's nice if you can catch those things after the concert

Youre right there but it goes both ways. Some people in bands judge the fans (who they dont know) by thinking they are above them and on the other hand, fans shouldn't arse-lick people from bands just because their face is on a CD, and expect them to be emotional intellectuals. Its a ridiculous scenario, most people I know from bands are gobshites
