The New Iced Earth has possibly the worst lyrics ever

Its good, great and boring depending on what song you are talking about :)
Or the running order.
When burning the two disc's onto one, I rearrange the order. It seems a lot more interesting now. :err:

I think that overall it is a fairly solid album despite being patchy, having some really strong material and some very weak material. Not one of IE's best, but still good.

The Reckoning, Attila, Red Baron/Blue Max, The Devil To Pay, Hold At All Costs, and High Water Mark are all excellent songs, and that makes the album well worth my time, no matter how bad some of the other stuff is.

Blitzy, do you actually read the shit you post?

"fairly solild album despite being patchy". It can't be solid and patchy. Solid means consistant, patchy means inconsistant.

I know it's not your point, I know you love it.

Am I the only person who likes Hollow Man here?
I don't dislike it, I just preferred it back when it was called Melancholy, or Watching Over Me, or Ghost Of Freedom.

Do you actually read what I post, or do you just see a post by me and try and pick it apart every chance you get? Yes, I am aware that solid and patchy mean almost the opposite of each other, which is why I pointed it out. While the quality in the songs is inconsistent, with there being excellent material and average material, the album still managed to be fairly solid all around to actually listen to. By this I mean every song is still listen-to-able (except When The Eagle Cries), and enjoyable, even though some are much weaker than others. I find this strange, which is why I said it.

It can't be solid and patchy though, it doesn't make any sense. If it has patchy material, it's not solid. end.

I ment more that the bad stuff on the album is around the average mark (apart from When The Eagle Cries), and the good stuff is good, making it a solid listening experience, even when the quality of the material varies. You obviously don't agree with me, and thats fine, but understand what I was trying to say.
