For those of you who are curious to find out what in the hell Nathan is doing post-Vehemence here's the skinny:

It started with a jam shed shared with Brandon who I am sure some of you remember from his days jamming around town in a band called Bludgeon (not the Metal Blade band...).
Rob (Red Tear Memory) was cool enough to come down and help start getting some riffs lined up for us, which led to the first two songs coming together in like three days.
We knew we needed some bad motherfuckers to be able to keep up with Brandon and Rob's frenetic assault, so Brandon called Too Metal Chris(Warfare, Phx.) up to help retain that sick grind influence. Of course Too Metal picked that shit up immediately and has already presented some great ideas for the next couple of tunes (which we all can't wait to get into).
Finally we lined up one of the best local fingerstyle bass musicians available, who I'm sure all you Phoenecians remember: Luke (ex-Sephiroth).
He has jammed with us for two practices and knows both of the originals already, and is ready for the next challenge.

It is obvious to all involved that this is certainly a force to be reckoned with, and we look forward to playing out as soon as possible to share this new collective assault with all interested metalheads.

He Who Binds Himself
Nathan-vocals
Brandon-drums
Rob-guitar
Chris-guitar
Luke-bass

Sounds good man! I only wish I was down in Phoenix to witness this shit. I'm glad you realize your talent and didn't stop after Vehemence.

I had a feeling he would be in anothe rband soon. I also have a feeling that the breakup with vehemence was due to undisclosed reasons :(

Nathan, I definitely look forward to hearing this madness when I get back in town for good in August!!

Uhh wtf?! What was wrong with Vehemence? I mean shit, even if this new stuff is great, you would think it would be really hard for a vocalist to find such a versatile band as Vehemence....wtf....no offense to anyone, but I though he left because he needed to focus on a more professional lifestyle to support family etc. Am I wrong?

Actually you are right.
I stepped down from Vehemence (the band I fucking created) to be able to support my family. You see, the other members of Vehemence aren't ready to stop losing money on touring, and for me that was no longer an option. It is not to say I will never create music with my band Vehemence again, they just gotta do what they gotta do, and I understand that.
And now that trying to "make it" in music is no longer an issue, I can go back to playing brutal pissed off fucking grind (with hint of melody of course) for the fun of it!
It is obvious to all who have heard the musical progression of Vehemence that they are getting further and further away from death metal, which is also fine, but a fact that is undeniable.
I have the utmost respect for the dreams of those guys, and couldn't think of attempting to take that away from them.
I will start fresh, the same place I started in 1995:Jamming with my friends in the pursuit of having a good time, not a corporation.
Stay sick, and spread the word...
Death metal is eternal.
Nathan-era Vehemence rules

Yes, Nathan-era Vehemence rules, but I hope post-Nathan Vehemence will also kick ass. Good luck with your new band though!

Nate-
looking forward to hearing your new band, I'm sure its gonna kick ass.

Losing money on tour does suck, but I am not ready to throw in the towel, I've invested way too much time into this to stop now.

Vehemence has not been a pure death metal band since TTFWIH. We never really fit in with the brutal death scene. I always thought we were a bit different. As far as the new material goes, no one has really heard it. Nate has heard one song that he actually wrote lyrics for which i thought ruled, and would be one of our best songs. It has melody, blast beats, guitar solos, tremelo picking, double bass, etc... At the core of it, it is definitely death metal.

The business definitely sucks, and that had everything to do with Nate's departure. It ain't easy being a metal band trying to "make it".

Nate era Vehemence rules. next era Vehemence is gonna rule too. Watch out!

I always had that feeling that you were different from the other death metal bands, especially in the "brutal" category. You have always been too melodic to be a brutal band. It's not a bad thing, not at all, because otherwise I might not have been as interested in your music.
