Yeah but dropping it in the middle of the annual State of the Union address was something else. The address is basically constitutionally required and while it was only under FDR that it became consistently spoken rather than delivered in writing, it's by far the most culturally-significant annual speech in our country. I didn't catch the whole address but there was some great shit in there, including not forgetting the Alamo, Manifest Destiny for outer space, "stankctuary cities", and Pelosi ripping her copy of the speech up from her seat was just the cherry on top. Trump was a personified "Fuck you" from the electorate to the government, and he delivered more than ever today.

And yeah, Biden getting one kills any defense of the sanctity of the medal or whatever people are crying about.

If you saw/remember that snooty dinner that Hillary and Trump attended, where the audience awkwardly shuffled and then booed him when he started making Haitian adoption jokes at her expense, this was on par with that. The big difference is that this time, the subject was was mostly him talking about how he was the greatest president ever and shittalking the Obama administration, with half the audience seething and the other half kissing his ass with overly-long applause every five words.
