shit I listen to right now
the only reggae i ever listened to is jah radio in GTA3 :) ..that and scratch perry....umm some blues robert johnson, john lee hooker rory gallagher.... john martyn, nick drake, red house painters, sabres of paradise, les thingeys de la voix builgaires, spirichoolized, zombies...umm other stuff..come to think of it I listen to fuck all metal these days.

Dead can dance, porcupine tree, radiohead, the whole 70's rock scene ( deep purple, led zeppelin, doors, pink floyd, hawkwind etc.), fields of the nephilim, sisters of mercy, madrugada, queen and i also like some stuff from bands like muse, coldplay, depeche mode, r.e.m, u2, placebo...

depeche mode, some stuff from queen, crazy german gothic wave stuff (Sopor Aeternus), some classical music (Goretsky, Bach, Hendel, E. Elgar, A. Brookner...)

In no particular order: bad religion, ramones, sex pistols, misfits, sonic youth, soundgarden, sisters of mercy, bauhaus, rush, king crimson, fields of the nephilim, mogwai, puressence, radiohead, spiritualized, massive attack, dead can dance, cocteau twins, black flag, portishead, fugazi, godflesh, ministry, the (international) noise conspiracy, hellacopters, hawkwind, system of a down, nine inch nails, neurosis, the gathering, tool, queens of the stone age, death in vegas, the atomic bitchwax, kyuss......the list is endless..... to tell you the truth metal is not going very well lately. Every 18 year old has a contract and they just keep playing the same stuff again and again... the bands that are trying to offer something new to the scene are 10 maybe 15. Why the hell should I buy a thrash metal release when they all (more or less) play like slayer or pantera and why buy some death/grind thing when I've got carcass or at the gates and other great bands of the past. the thing is that nobody played like,for example, radiohead or queens of the stone age 10 or 15 years ago and that's why these bands deserve (and get) attention....

Just some thoughts, don't shoot....

depeche mode, Blackmail, Dredge, Zeraphine, Dreadful Shadows, Ulver, Pink Floyd, The 3rd and the Mortal, Porcupine Tree, Portishead, Black Sabbath, Placebo, Kari Rueslatten, The Cure, New Model Army, 80's, Pyogenesis, De/Vision, Mogwai, Nirvana, Tool

U2two (two is an inside joke with my mates ;) )

I really like the electronic stuff from VNV nation and Covenant.

Other bands are: Current 93 (it's so intense at times!); bands like empyrium - tenhi - hagalaz' runedance - .... ; side-projects with members of In the Woods... ; Syd Barrett ;

And there are really a lot more bands / genres, but these are the most representatives.
