We were playing Palladium's Rifts on teusday and this self-titled "elite DM" wanted to see what it was like, so he spent the night watching us, not playing, and commenting on how DnD was better. Rifts has no board, and its generally all done in head (or on very crude maps drawn on paper). There are no set rules for range, or how many steps to take in a combat turn, just a range on your weapon, and a speed attribute, any negatives to be added are left to the GM's discretion. This allows a lot more lulz to take place imo, and makes the general story telling go way smoother. The DM guy was going apeshit, because those people are irritating rulefags who ruin games. >8( Fuck I hate DnD kids!

He was only over because of an obvious crush he has on my roommate, but we had many alol at his expense.
