The NOW PLAYING thread

Lutz.. you are from Sweden. You don't know  ;)
It is actually a stupid assumption about Mayhem. As long as
you have Necrobutcher in it's the true damn Mayhem. I think
what Metalion (I met him actually... not that it matters) wrote
in the Mayhem tribute says it all... ok. Sorry Astarte but I'm just
tired of hearing that shit. There are also too many damn ignorants
out there who don't know shit but seems to have an opinion on
everything... fools (not referring to you... I hope I'm not ;) )

What I meant was that new Mayhem does not have the Mayhem feeling (except WLA). GDOW is still an ok/good effort but it seems that they tried to make many different things at once with that one, and failed a bit..

...and there's lots of others who insult the rest that doesn't agree with them...

I don't care if now they name it The True Mayhem themselves, in my opinion Maniac is not very skilled and i think the initial feeling of the band is lost... and i don't like the last album...

anyway, didn't you see that bloody smiley, Lordenlil?

I agree. It's not at all containing the atmosphere of De Mysteriis.
It's far too technical and clinic for that. But it's still an outstanding
piece and very untraditional, yes. That might be reason enough
for some to say that they arent 'true' to themselves, but there
is also need to develop a bit also. The leap was maybe too big,
but we'll see how it gets next time. But as a band they're still
they're still 3 out of four members that were there from early on
(with some changes in between). The true Mayhem is very much alive.

Once again Astarte... sorry if I seemed a bit harsh.. I am not as
mad as I seem ;) he he. Bloody smiley? The  ?
It's the mad smiley... if that's the one you mean.
Yes, the feeling is not the same, BUT it's still very uncompromising
music with provoking lyrics and real aggression. Thats's what
Mayhem always were about. Ok - so Dead was a fucking nut-case
and a coward for killing himself. The story outward tells of a person
obsessed by death, but a person like that is only cool as a myth.
Of course a looser in society, lacking strength and will to live.
Living life true black metal style is almost impossible these days
unless you are a farmer or something. And this is what it's all
about - the expression of feelings through music. Yeah, it can
make you feel tougher and stronger, which is good... but for
some it can be extremely destructive... believe me.... GDOWar
accomplishes these things as well....

I was talking about the :p

So a person that can't find a reason to live or just doesn't want to is a loser and a coward?
I resent that...

This will never end
...but I can't argue for long, Gaunerin, don't worry ;).

I would have let it end but I'm bored... :p
I don't want to live until I'm 80/90 and can't walk anymore. I decided that when I'm bored enough of life, then...
