This. The hands/fingers imo spoil an otherwise nice image with this really creepy/grossout vibe. If it were anything other than body parts forming the 'gears' (within reason) I don't think I'd have any complaints.

Maybe if he could shoop up the hands/fingers to the point that they no longer look human or fleshy, then it would work.
