I know this is the internet and all, and apparently nothing matters and there are no consequences, but telling a man to his face that you think his woman is ugly or average or whatever is really fucking shithouse, and I'd expect that sort of shit from retards like the heartbreak kid but I thought you were a tad better than that.
To date (and to my credit), it's the only time I can remember saying something like that. I was a little pissed off from work when I wrote that, but that is a weak excuse at best.
At the same time, anyone who posts pics of girlfriends, wives, whatever opens themselves up to ridicule/praise. It doesn't make any of it right or wrong, but that's just how it works. Welcome to the internet.
And your little piece of worldly advice at the end just sounds like you being bitter and twisted with a mammoth chip on your shoulder because you got dumped.
I've been bitter for quite a few years now, but it was more the way my girlfriend broke up with me that made me bitter about the whole situation and not the break up itself. She broke up with me over a text message that I wasn't expecting because we never really fought about anything. We had been going for 8 months and then, rather than tell me to my face, she opts to tell me in a text that 'we're not really compatible with each other' but she 'still cares about me a lot' (but why would you break up with me over text if you did care about me that much?). I think I have a right to be bitter about that. She was also my first real relationship with someone and I had to make myself vulnerable (which I couldn't do in previous relationships because I was afraid of rejection) and the inevitable happened.
Also, she had been acting really funny the week leading up to that (canceling lunch plans, sleeping on the couch instead of in bed with me, etc). It's most likely not right to generalize the way women act (unless they don't cook me a fucking steak, of course), but sometimes they make it too easy.
Anyway, here is the real reason I opened this thread:
This is what all the employees got as a thank you for being the #1 company in the city. I would have rather had some money or something, but it's free so kickass!
