Where are the whores with the slash wounds?

so the other night we went to this fashion show of sorts at an industrial arts college over in Oakland. One of our friends was one of the designers being featured. It was like if Burning Man put on a fashion show. Here are our friend's pieces:

These other two were just badass. The first one, the skull lady, was the first to come out for the show and was fucking awesome. The house played really dark tribal music, and it fit perfectly. The flamethrower guy did a battle with a Trojan woman at the end of the show. She had a flaming whip, which came dangerously close to some people in the front

It was a super cool event and unlike anything I had gone to before.

It's actually the second time we met within a week during my time here in Boston. Looking forward to meeting up again this summer. Yes, meeting with Pat keeps the brain cells firing despite all the alcohol we drown them in.

Jeremy is a patient interlocutor! He let me ramble on about novels versus epics, dialectics, and ideology. And then educated me on ancient Greek, the Homeric and Vergilian traditions, and "unitarianism" Two really great meetings, I look forward to next time!
