[Pessimism]

Americans don't hate bikers at all, there are just a lot of motorcyclists that think they can survive going any damned speed they want. Hell, three weeks ago I saw a young man going down the street at 60mph on a riceburner - the tip of the iceburg was he awesome wheelie he was performing for the entire length of the visible block.

If you want a country that actually hates people who ride motorcycles, look towards Mexico. Some people in cars actively hunt down and hit people on bikes just because they can get away with it.

I think a lot of bikers are pretty cocky, but i think many bikers accept that it is a dangerous mode of transport. Especially if you f*** about. But you've got to admit, theres always going to be a temptation for a vehicle costing £10,000 that can do 0-60mph in 2.5 seconds.

If that was a car, you would be spending £80,000 (or doing some ridiculous and expensive mods).

I want a bike Hopefully ill be sensible to only go fast on track days.

Scary stuff. Deer love to jump over out fence and chill in our yard, which is annoying, but at least there are no vicious mountain cougars. That would scare the living shit out of me.

Further out from the cities, like where my brother lives, wolves are somewhat common. He watched 2 of his big ass dogs fight a mountain lion about a month ago, and the dogs kicked it's ass. They were circling the mountain lion and keeping it off balance, and when the lion attacked one the other would brutalize it.
