I'm glad I do not live in a climate that houses dangerous spiders. Spiders are creepy enough without the whole "I COULD KILL YOU IF I WANTED TO" aspect.

When I was a wee lad I would be deathly afraid of spiders at night, but during the day it was like they were my best friends, and if I had to forsake them down the toilet then I had the courage to take a tissue and do away with it. But at night, for some reason I was reduced to a coward.

We get a lot of moths during the summer, so at night we like to go outside and catch them to bring in and feed to our cats. It's fun watching them pounce on them and torture the helpless pests before chowing down on their dusty flesh.

I always disliked them. But one flew into my mouth somehow when I was mostly asleep, and I swallowed it.
Since then it has been.. war.

I like garden spiders that make webs and stuff. I just hate the big black house spiders that just sit in little corners in your house doing fuck all and you notice them everytime you walk past thinking "I should put that outside sometime..." and then when you finally want to do actually do that they're gone and you get all paranoid about where they are now.

I never kill them though. I don't need spider juice all over my walls. Usually I just trap them under an empty glass or something and slide a piece of paper between and then take them outside.

I usually feed bugs found around the house to my cat as well. Fly hunts are the best- watching him pick the pests right out of the air.

my main hatred for spiders is when they build webs where people walk. It was almost habit that everyday I would walk out of my house and into a spider web. idiots
