I'm actually planning to get contacts pretty soon. Finally got tired of all the cleaning, adjusting, scratches on lenses, and having no peripheral vision.

I just got new glasses, as my old ones got broken at Ozzfest, and they are bugging the shit outta me.

On a side note, I learned that I am legally blind without glasses.

I really don't mind the minor inconveniences of glasses, as contacts seem to be more of a nuisance overall, depending on what kind you have.

I wouldn't know until I've tried them. I've just heard a lot of positive things about them from people I know. The only thing I can imagine being a major issue with contacts is the discomfort of having pieces of plastic in your eyes, but that's just something you would adjust to over time. I'd say the advantages over glasses are pretty tremendous.

I stopped wearing them around and only wore them when I played hockey.
