I literally never considered buying one for exactly that reason despite seeing a few stupidly low priced ones on Ebay years back when I was still in the market for a metal amp.

I've stayed and lived in hotels before, a place can be a run down shithole and not necessarily have roaches, if bugs don't crawl around don't care if a place is a fucking dump

I stayed for nearly 3 weeks in this hotel in Melbourne AU now known as The Great Southern. It's laid out like a prison with most of the rooms only having windows facing inwards. I wasn't bothered by all the marks on the walls or the gross-looking pipes where the bathroom ceiling should be. Even found it kind of amusing. I just make sure there's no signs of bed bugs.
