English is actually roughly 50% based on Latin. Learning Latin definitely helps with English vocabulary(though not English)

You're an italian so you can shut up. If anyone has been forcibly made to take french GCSE like I did, they will have noticed that a lot of words are similiar but sometimes only wiht somewhat archaic words in the other language (both ways round actually). Also french is such a good language that the french for weekend is le week-endThey stole that!
