Nope. Ska riffs + circus bits + theatricality + perversion are basically the main cornerstones of the Oingo Boingo sound. I had of course known Weird Science and Little Girls for a while, but when I actually began listening to their first three albums in full I was blown away by how much the Bungle S/T sounded like them, only better, more efficient, and less pretentious. Seriously, listen to Nasty Habits, What You See, or Little Guns for example. I still love Carousel tbh and there are good parts buried throughout that album, but it just sounds so kitschy these days, whereas Oingo Boingo sound timeless.
