Personally, I really like them. However, I can easily see how people would be pissed off by the pretentiousness and DG's strong sociopolitical opinions. I suppose I'm not pissed because I agree with him.

I like them simply because they write great, original, heart-felt music. I hardly ever pay attention to lyrics, but either way, if there's a cool concept, I'll enjoy it.

Felt let down by Scarsick. It wasn't as strong as the rest of their discography and tracks like "America" piss me off. I have no special love for the US, but I can't stand simplistic unsupported criticism from blind idealists.

He has no talent. He's just another wanky prog musician with a horrible voice. Talent is composing a good song, regardless of technical ability. I would say that DG can go dive off a cliff, but his death would more than likely cause a sudden influx of "OMG PoS WAS SO GREAT OMGOMGOMGOMG" and the tears of a thousand fanbois would flood the land.

Perfect Element is excellently composed IMO. I think his voice sounds very fitting, and PoS are hardly wanky from where I stand.
