what happened to the supposed Whitesnake headlining tour Coverdale said they were going to do in 2009?

I figure they saw a more lucretive JP tour offer... do not get me wrong, Id LOVE a 'snake headline tour, but we have to weigh their popularity today, versus someone like Priest. So long as I see em SOMEWHERE, I'll be happy.
