One of the most AMAZING albums in the history of music. :kickass: :kickass: :kickass:

I don't know the trendiest album I have that I love, probably one of the following:

Referencing this album in a major publication to earn street cred is about the trendiest thing I can think of.

Go to Guitar Center and try to escape this.

90% of the people who own this have never heard it.

I know people that hate metal that own this album.

Smoke On The Water has to be the #1 most trendiest, most played, w/e by peeps that dont know how to play or in guitarcenter etc etc etc

Remember, Waynes World, in the music store and the sign "NO STAIRWAY".

haha I once played Smoke on the Water on a violin, and by once I mean repeatedly over a number of years.

Also Crazy Train is definitely one of my GC Standards along with Master of Puppets and some Corrosion of Conformity. My excuse is that I only pick up an electric geeeeeeeeetar about 4 times a year. :loco:

When I first started listening to rock music and stuff when I was a kid, I was really into that Bush album "Sixteen Stone". Didn't like any of their other stuff though. I bet I'd enjoy that album if I listened to it now though.

I still enjoy about half that album.

I would highly recommend checking out The Science of Things. As a whole, the album is quite good. I think much better than their previous efforts. Razorblade Suitcase has it's moments, but Sixteen Stones kind of lost its edge around '97. :erk:

I like a lot of trendy stuff. Been on a Sublime kick lately and of course it's no secret that I'm an Underoath fan. Oh, and Agalloch is one of my favorite bands so... ha!

Are Tool trendy? I consider bands trendy when they have a big following that, when it all comes down to it, have no serious fans. I think most Tool fans are pretty serious about them. Could be wrong, I dunno. The Mars Volta would qualify though, I'm sure 90% of people who like them skip all the "dumb noise" parts.

I guess my definition of trendy is different, I don't consider it to be the same as popular. Trendiness, to me, indicates a fad status like some fashion bullshit that will disappear within minutes of being the Best Thing Ever. Semantics.
