For some reasons, the Simple Minds' 'Street Fighting Years' album reminds me a french region called Massif Central ( Haute Loire to be more precise ), it's a region with medium moutains, massive landscapes and desertic areas, canyons like and some big forests too ... very nice place.
Cock Robin reminds me of the TV show 'Tour of Duty' i talked about in the A-Team thread, no special reason there again.
And all stupid sellout R&N commercial stuff remind me of my ex

The song Perfectly Still by Halo reminds me of my best mate. It reminds me of a particularly bad time we had and makes me cry without fail every time I hear it.

hm there are too many albums and songs that remind me of something... maybe every song I heard more then just one time has a special meaning for a situation in my life...
i've always been thinking of compiling themed cds.
first song that comes to mind is Ascension with Mehdi and Omar running like spastics in the graspop field,singin the melody and pretend they re racing,with me and heiko trying to follow *joyous parenthesis in the grey*
all the songs of Take That remind me of days that now taste like a fist twisting in my stomach,bittersweet feelings and all that.Ignorance is bliss for sure...
Same goes for early 90's stuff.Who remembers Dreams by Gabrielle?...

The most positive examples are "In The Heat Of The Night" by To/Die/For which reminds me of Rose, Mehdi and Lars (from Hypocrisy) *g* and "Thunder" from AC/DC and Prince who makes me thing of my cousin and a great time we spent at the croatian coast

There are so many songs which remind me on situations in the past...
For example, Rivers of babylon (haha), my father recorded me singing it when I was like 3 years old and only able to say, blabla Babylon bla bla, coz I wasn't able to speak english...lol
Another one is... Enjoy the silence by Depeche Mode.. it always reminds me on my first holidays without my parents, like Vagabonds from New Model ARmy... I was like 14 and drunk all the time...
All songs of Deine Lakeien illuminated or darkened my 2 years stay in Tunisia.....
Well, a lot of songs by Anathema remind me on the sadest points in my life... they prevented me from doing "BAD" things...(you do know what, Pieter..., ty...eternally...)
