You had asked earlier regarding my roots. I'm part English, part German. I have family in London (Catford) and in Nantwhich (near Crewe.) My German heritage hails from Cologne and Baden Baden. Absolutely in love with Germany.
I will also say that I have spent quite a bit of time in Scotland, Wales, and Ireland due to my profession. I love Britain.....and am very proud of my heritage. Both sides, actually.
Europe is a great place to visit and re-aquaint and re-energize with family and friends. I miss the pub and cafe culture. But I'm glad to be a Canadian!

Okay, I'll tell you that it isn't actually my room! It's a little too teenagerish for me don't you think? But the lighting is good there.

I got into heavy metal in the middle 1970s because it was the only music that had balls back then. I've always not really liked the hippie thing. So I started out with Motorhead, then Black Sabbath, then Maiden, Priest, Zeppelin, Purple... aw yeah!
Heavy metal wasn't really important to me until I started hearing death metal, specifically Suffocation and Deicide. I never liked the church but now I had a new reason to despise it... they wouldn't tolerate the music I loved. But then I got to thinking, how is it that the church of LOVE wouldn't recognize my LOVE for metal music? After that, all of society unravelled for me. It was all lies.
I guess I'm a pretty alienated dude these days. One of my best friends is a meth dealer, another is the king of shemale porn, and the rest are Nazis or headbangers. But I'm pretty damn far from being a yuppie.
